Once I have meet you at the hub I will identify myself and show you my identification. I will need to site your permit.
if you don’t have your permit with you, I will not be permitted to go ahead with your test.

Roadworthy Vehicle
If you are going to use your own vehicle prior to meeting me at the hub it is advisable to ensure the vehicle is
roadworthy.
I am required to check that the vehicle is roadworthy, I will then explain to you your test.

General Drive
The general drive component of your Vort will test your driving skills e.g. changing lanes, turning on and from busy roads, turning at traffic lights, negotiating roundabouts, stop and give-way signs, your interaction with other road users and the system of car control.
To pass you must demonstrate 5 slow speed manoeuvres and in combination with the general drive score a pass mark of 90% or more and not breach and road law during the drive.
Choosing Vort offers you the following options:
- Before 7:30am or after 6:30pm from 1 September to 31 March.
- Before 730am or after 4:15pm from 1 April to 31 March.
- Not Before 10:00am on Public Holidays or Sundays.
- Christmas Day and Good Friday NO testing permitted.
If you hold a temporary permit and you fail you will be put on a learners permit.
