It is important to be in the correct lane at a multilane roundabout and to understand who has the right of way when entering a roundabout
First, the important consideration is that the person IN the roundabout has the immediate right of way.
Technically, no. If you wish to turn right in a double lane roundabout you should be in the right lane entering the roundabout. You should also have your right turn indicator on.
When you are approaching a roundabout and you want to turn right, you need to navigate safely into the right lane if you wish to turn right off the roundabout.
If you are in the left lane of a multi-lane roundabout you are able to turn left or go straight through the roundabout.
Remember that the vehicle in the roundabout first has right of way.
