The animal symbols, consisting of horses, cougars, wolves, eagles and bison, pay between 10 and 20 x your stake for 5 of a kind wins. The Stampede Spins Bonus Round triggers when you land 4 flaming scatters anywhere in view, and the feature comes with only buffalo symbols, Stack symbols and/or inactive skull symbols. Landing the Stack symbol (‘S’) on a reel adds 5 to 60 buffalo symbols to that reel, and these replace inactive skull symbols. A full stack triggers the Stampede Reels multiplier feature as usual, and you also get +1 extra spin per Stack symbol.

The visual presentation is somewhat classic for the wild west animal genre, which makes it untypical for a Hacksaw release. We don’t mind really, at least not when the feature department is packed with highly inflammable and innovative stuff. The base game is all about landing the SNS symbol, which may lead to back-to-back respin wins that culminates in a full screen win.

Admittedly, said full screen win doesn’t award more than 150x your stake unless the buffalo is involved.

With multipliers being added together pretty much anything can happen even in the base game, and you need an x50 total multiplier to crack the max win from a full buffalo screen. The regular bonus round is less exciting than the Stampede Spins feature, but it can still deliver solid payouts, of course. This is a hard-bucking release like so many Hacksaw installments. It can stampede all over your bankroll, or give it a sudden steroid injection to the tune of 10,000x your stake.
